Kasoori Gobi

 Cauliflower is one of ours very favorite vegetables. We used to put cauliflower in so many curries. Like Labra, Chocchori, Daal, Fish Curry, Fried Rice etc. Love to cook this in various styles too. So I just prepared my Cauliflower with Kasuri Meethi and named it Kasoori Gobi. Hope you all like the name too.



Prep Time 30 mints.
Serve for: 4 People.

Ingredients:
1.A small cauliflower (cut into small pieces).
2.A large potato (Cut into small pieces).
3.One medium sliced onion.
4.Half Medium size chopped tomato.
5.One tea spoon ginger & garlic paste.
6.Few fenugreek seeds.
7.Few cumin seeds.
8.One bay leaves.
9.One small cinnamon stick.
10.Cardamom (2 to 3 pieces).
11.Turmeric Powder ,Red chili Powder, Cumin powder, Coriander Powder (one tea spoon of each
item).
12.Half tea spoon Kasoori meethi.
13.A pinch of chaat masala.
14.One tea spoon dry curd.
15.Salt & Sugar (optional) As per taste.
16.Sunflower oil.





Process:

Put some oil in a heavy bottomed vessel, fry the cauliflower & potatoes with some turmeric powder and salt till golden brown. Keep it aside.





Put some more oil and add the fenugreek seeds, cumin seeds, bay leaves, cinnamon stick & cardamom. Now add the sliced onions and tomatoes fry till the onions transparent.

Make a mixture of ginger garlic paste, turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder & cumin powder with some water.

Add the mixture into the vessel with some salt, sugar and mix well. Now add the kasoori meethi with the curd, and stir for some time.

Now add the fried cauliflower and fried potatoes. Cook for few mints.




Now add some water and cover with a lid, and cook till everything boiled nicely.



Sprinkle some chaat masala and serve hot your Kasoori Gobi with Rice or Roti.
